Bad times for peace
Índice
Bad times for peace, the winds of war blow strong
The drums of conflict beat a steady song
Echoes of gunfire, screams in the night
Shadows of hatred, blocking the light
Tears fall like rain, as mothers mourn their sons
Fathers lose their daughters, to the war that never ends
Innocent victims, caught in the crossfire
Their cries for peace, forever rising higher
But still we march on, with hope in our hearts
For one day the sun will shine on a world that's free
From the chains of oppression, and the greed of the strong
The people will rise, and a new day will dawn
So let us sing out, for peace and for love
For a future that's bright, and a world that's reborn
For though these may be bad times, for peace and for all
We'll keep fighting on, till the final curtain call.
