No 3-A Folding Brownie

No 3-A Folding Brownie, originally uploaded by olivander.

This large-format Kodak from approximately 1915 shot 3.25" x 5.5" negatives, which were then typically contact-printed directly onto postcards. If you've ever found old family photographs with postcard printing on the backs of them, they most likely were taken with a camera like this one.

Hey! My friend (and photoblogger) patrick just purchased one of those. He keeps a site @ www.photolacausa.com where he'll be posting the large format stuff from the Brownie (it's a "one photo per weekday style blog) as soon as his current set with the Holga runs dry.
